DAY 1: INTRODUCTION TO OFFICE ERGONOMICS

• Review of DSE regulations and obligations
• Identify and mitigate the postural risks associated with prolonged computer use
• Learn to properly configure workstations for optimal health, comfort and performance
• Recognise equipment challenges and recommend cost effective alternatives
• Measure the potential cost savings of a proactive ergonomics programme

DAY 2: CONDUCTING EFFECTIVE DSE ERGONOMIC ASSESSMENTS

• Learn best practice for completing DSE assessment
• Develop efficient skills to complete the DSE assessor checklist and ergonomic assessment process through activity based learning
• Learn to conduct DSE assessments based on current regulations, evaluation of work tools such as task seating, sit/stand devices, mice, keyboards, monitors, lighting and more
• Share best practices for providing employee education, promoting behavioural change and enhancing employee wellbeing
• Build confidence in your ability to conduct DSE assessments, improve employee comfort and reduce risk of injury
